So the 11th student enrolled the other day. Will we need to divide the class into two rooms, or will Peter be left to his own devices, yet again. (which, incidentally, is how he likes it)
I know I will have a bonafide paper conservator coming for some skills renewal; a new conservation student, a skilled seamstress I know, who wants to learn basic binding, a writer with an on-going binding project.
This term will takes us back to the beginning: single pamphlet stitch, with or without guards, single section flush quarter binding and progressing onto multi section sewn board bindings. Within this simple plan I will be adding some elements that will extend the conservation people.
Supper will need to cater to the gluten intolerant and the lactose free, with egg sandwiches for everyone else.
